Greek businessman Giannis Karageorgis (also know as Yiannis Karageorgis, Ioannis Karageorgis, John Karageorgis or \u0399\u03c9\u03ac\u03bd\u03bd\u03b7\u03c2 \u039a\u03b1\u03c1\u03b1\u03b3\u03b5\u03c9\u03c1\u03b3\u03b7\u03c2), 66, owner of the companies Tansy Shiptrade, La Mere Maritime, Times Navigation and Hellasnet was arrested at his home in the Glyfada region, a luxury coastal suburb south of Athens after an international order issued by the Dutch authorities in 2016 and currently faces charges of fraud, forgery and fraudulent bankruptcy.<\/p>\n

Karageoris is a refugee in Greece from where he works in partnership with Miguel Silva P\u00e9rez<\/a>, self-proclaimed financial operator of the Maduro government and owner of the briefcase company Iveex Insaat Group.<\/p>\n

The company, incorporated less than a year ago with a capital of only 10,000 Turkish lre spurts, allegedly purchased the ship Almajedah for ($14,000,000) fourteen million U.S. dollars and subsequently sold to PDV Marina S.A. for ($25,000,000) US$25 million with an overprice of $11,000 million.<\/p>\n

Protected by supposed connections within the high government of the Maduro regime, Jes\u00fas Miguel Silva P\u00e9rez, constantly meets in Panama and Miami with the Venezuelan diaspora who has debts in PDVSA to charge commissions to entrepreneurs to help them collect their debts through its company Iveex Group using, as reported from the source, Genesis Varela of the law firm Silva, P\u00e9rez & Asociados.<\/p>\n
